This formalized inpatient program is onecomponent of a continuum of care progressing as close as possible to an independent, productive lifestyle for a person with an amputation. We have a complete on site prosthetics workshop.

The Transitional Living Program bridges the gap between the highly structured and integrated services of inpatient care and the transfer home with outpatient services. After completion of each day, the patient returns to the on-campus transitional apartment to incorporate newly learned skills and techniques into his/her own home environment and into the community. The Transitional Living program is dedicated to restoring maximum functional independence.
Vocational rehabilitation services provide for assessment and evaluation of the disabled patient's school or employment potential and assist the patient in returning to productive activity at home, at work or in school.
